2014-15 Level III will be composed of  4 weekends of training,
with the option for continued studies in ongoing Advanced Class Series.
Students are currently discussing expanding each 3 day training into 4 days.
Final Dates and costs will be published once this process is complete.
1- Dates TBA
MODULE ONE:
Weekend I will begin with one day with Licensed Psychotherapist and shamanic practitioner Vicki Anderson, Psy.D., outlining her professional/clinical Intake materials, with clear articulation of how to proceed with each client for treatment, based on their needs.  Days II and III will go step by step through the practices you each wish to highlight for understanding more thoroughly, that we have engaged in, in our prior years of work.
This may mean we do more cognitive than experiential work in this weekend.  It is based on your need and desire to clarify specific aspects of practice, primarily in clinical or therapeutic setting.  We will take it as deep as the conversations organically can evolve, based on what you bring forward to seek greater knowing and understanding in regards to specific aspects of the work, or specific practices we have shared.
If any time remains, we will balance the weekend with experiential work, starting with work with each other.
2- Dates TBA MODULE TWO:
An Integrative "Applications of Sound Therapy" weekend, with both cognitive and experiential work, possibly in a supervisory setting, with peer review, overseeing each practice with each other, one pair at a time, with the ability to cohesively, and conscientiously speak to the nature of our work, with the potential for positive feedback (we will highlight this will be only beneficial, positive based feedback.)
This is tentative, I will look more deeply into the best way to spend our time for this weekend.
3-  Dates TBA MODULE THREE:
Requirement of at least 3-5 case presentations for review (to be determined,)
We will have created an intake model, based on at least some part of Vicki's material, with possible additional input based on our procedures and protocol.
We will ask you to carry through case studies with at least 3-5 clients for at least 2-3 sessions.  We will review these as a group, and look for areas of potential improvement or refinement of our work.

These reviews will include in depth notes on the following.  All materials and protocols needed for these reviews are expected to be covered or presented by the end of Module I:
  • Intake form
  • Release document from client
  • Summary
  • Case history
  • Preparation for session
  • Expectations of client
  • Outline, length, content, setting
  • Detailed:  position of client during each stage of practice
  • How did session progress, what info gathered from client
  • What techniques or elements of sound were utilized or applied
  • What was outcome?
  • What do you think worked, didn’t work, etc.
  • Client evaluation and feedback of session
  • Documenting session;  Subjective (observations,) Objective  (what you observe, did they appear in what state, etc,) Assessment;  What is followup plan?
4- Dates TBA

Earth and Consciousness

We will explore the traditional understanding of the Earth and Cosmos as living consciousness, regarded as the nature of life by most indigenous cultures.
We will utilize sound to explore entering into and furthering living relations with all life, the cosmos, and our place in it, as well as how to use sound as a gateway into other realms of understanding, known as the 'subtle realms' in many spiritual traditions.

These will be published at a later time.

Some out of class assignments will be part of curriculum.
