    Program Information:   

 Fundamentals of Sound Healing:  Therapeutic Applications
May 19-20, 2012, optional Sunday, (and Mon-Tues, if included)

$125/1st day, or $200 both days in advance.  If do not sign up for both days at least 5 days in advance, the fee is $250 for two days.  Day 2 is optional, but each prior day must be attended to participate in Day 2 (or 3 or 4, if included, see below.)

A unique opportunity to study & experience sound healing therapies with sacred sound channel and master sound healer, Zacciah Blackburn!!

Day 1:  Time: 1- 6 PM 
Our overall focus will be on the fundamentals of both voice and sound healing instrument techniques.  A more in depth focus on day 1 will be on the use of instruments.  The principals we learn can be applied to personal or clinical practices, but will focus on therapeutic applications, and include understandings of the human energy system components (chakras, electromagnetic, emotional and mental fields, etc,), intuitive awareness in sound practices, channeling sacred sound, direct experience with instruments and voice techniques, and more.  Instruments we may use include  Crystal Bowls, Tibetan bowls and bells, shamanic style drums and rattles, tuning forks, and others.

Anyone who knows Zacciah's work knows that when he says "fundamentals", it is anything but fundamental.  Zacciah has an uncanny ability to present materials in a manner that those who have not studied sound techniques before, will find much valuable information and experiential practice, and yet, even the most experienced practitioners will find that this work will take them to places they have not, or seldom, have been before, and receive information on the nature and use of sound techniques that will be valuable to their work.

Day 2:  Time 10AM-5PM
Day 2 is Optional, but one cannot be taken without day 1. 
We simply go deeper into the work, the use of sound with voice and instruments to reach heightened states of wellness and wholeness, with focus more on voice and Sacred Sound Transmissions (the art of channeling sacred sound from the other realms or dimensions of consciousness, understanding, wisdom, and being.)

Zacciah will be teaching from an experiential place, utilizing members of the audience as examples of how one can work with voice or instruments in a simple but most effective manner, and how to use instruments and voice for personal balance and wellness, as well.  By the end of Day 2, we will engage in in depth practice with Sacred Sound Transmissions, which can bring us to extraordinary states of heightened awareness and well being.

Those who register and pay at least 5 days in advance will receive a Certificate of Completion of this training from the Center of Light Institute of Sound Healing and Shamanic Studies.  Completion of these 2 days can be applied to weekend one of the Center's first year Sound Healing Training program.

Zacciah Blackburn is trained in classical healing, shamanic traditions and sacred sound culture. He is practicing at The Center of Light Institute of Sound Healing and Shamanic Studies. Zacciah has studied with a variety of master teachers of various spiritual lineages, including elders of North, South, and Central American traditions, incorporating these teachings into his work over a three decade period. Zacciah is Director of Education for the New England Sound Healing Research Institute.
