   AN INTRODUCTION TO SOUND HEALING
sound and shamanic instrumentsSound healing is a growing therapeutic field proven to enhance wellness and creativity at many levels of our being, from our energetic (subtle) bodies, and our psychological and spiritual wellness, to our physiological and sub-atomic form.  It is being used more and more in simple therapeutic practices to medical applications.

In this workshop, we will have the opportunity to have first hand experiential training with master educator and sound therapist Zacciah Blackburn, PhD, to receive vital information regarding the nature of sound therapies, how to use simple tools and instruments of the sound practice in therapeutic settings and for personal wellness, and how to use the voice, even without a singing background, to enhance wellness and richer states of awareness in our personal lives, through very simple techniques.

With Zacciah's method of training, even advanced practitioners will gain valuable insight and technique.  But, this training is designed primarily for those who wish to enter at an introductory level to this body of work, or experience Zacciah's work before advancing into a full year curriculum.

Costs and registration information are just below.

Drawing from contemporary times, and throughout history, cultures have known and utilized sound, for healing, to journey into other worlds, to awaken ecstatic states of awareness and innate well being, to connect with the Divine, and to illuminate one’s ancient knowing.  Modern science and therapeutic methodologies are adding to our understanding of the nature of sound, and its many potential applications.  Sound is the vibrational nature of Creation, and incorporated in ancient cultures’ wisdom ways and methods of understandingcymatic wave and enhancing their awareness of and relationship to the Cosmos.  We will utilize techniques with voice and simple instruments to enhance awareness and integration of sound in personal and professional practice.   We shall explore the nature of authentic healing, and utilize esoteric sound practices to enhance wellness, deep listening skills, needs for self healing, and entering deeper states of Self Realization, using many tools and instruments, including voice, toning, chant, etc. See the list of instruments in the right hand column we will focus on.>>>>>>>>>>>>>
No musical talent or prior experience is necessary.

Sound and Experience

Sound is every where and in every thing.  And, when we learn to listen to, and attune to, the vibrational essence, and information carried in the cells, in our memory, and in our energetic field, we have an extraordinary opportunity to work with sound from a highly refine perspective.

How do we listen, and learn?

shamanic practicesFrom a place of deep listening, and noticing how we perceive information from the subtle worlds, and develop our own intuitive prowess.

There are, also, specific methods of learning how to view into the subtle body, and work energetically with others in sound practices, that we shall explain.

The vast majority of individuals who come to our programs,  find that they experience more than they anticipated, often even more than they could have imagined.  Even those who have been in sound work for years, report this in experience with Zacciah's work.  He has a rich and masterful way of presenting material that is easily understood by the new, while deepening the understanding of those who have been in the therapeutic field for years, even decades.

If you register early, you have the opportunity to save significantly.  Sign up for our newsletter for occasional otherwise unannounced discounts.
