Follow the signs to Springfield, VT on Route 11 west (about 4 miles from the interstate.)

As you enter town, you will continue on 11W past two blinking yellow traffic lights about a mile apart, and then a traffic light downtown.  About one mile from that light in the center of town, you will see a second traffic light with a shopping plaza on your left.  Turn left here (Rt 11 bears left here, also, toward the town of Chester.)  Continue on Rt 11 about 1/4-1/2 mile to a school complex on your right (Riverside Middle School.)  Fairground Road is at the end of the school area, on the right. 
Turn right.
The Unitarian Universalist church is the next building on Fairground road, on the right, after the school complex.   Please park in the upper parking lot behind the church, we will reserve the smaller lower lot for presenters and handicap accessible spaces. 
For overflow parking, park at the Middle school, in the large lot below it (perhaps a 1/4 mile walk.)

From points in VT interior:
From SouthWest:  Travel in general toward Manchester, VT to Rt 11 East, or to Londonderry, VT, and turn on Rt 11 East, and continue on Rt 11 through Chester to Springfield.  As you enter Springfield, watch for a hospital sign on your right.  Do not turn there, but take the next left onto Fairground Rd and continue with above directions.

From points NorthWest, take I-89 to I-91, or take Rt 7 to Rutland, and Rt 106 to Ludlow, or Rt100 to Ludlow, and Rt 106 from Ludlow to Rt 10 to Springfield.  The first light in Springfield will be Rt 11, turn on Rt 11West, to the right, and continue to Fairground Rd beyond the Middle School as in original directions above.

Meals:
Meals will be the responsibity of each participant.  We are requesting Saturday lunch and dinner, and Sunday dinner, that participants bring something to share in a potluck meal.  Those in Friday and Monday workshops are also welcome to create a potluck meal.  A meals area, and full kitchen facilities are available, including refrigeration, but due to the number of expected participants, we ask that foods be pre-prepared as much as possible. A list of nearby restaurants will be available.  Food stores and natural food co-op are close by.

Accomodations:
A list of nearby accomodations are on our Accomodations Page.  Springfield, N. Springfield, Chester, Weathersfield, VT, and Charlestown, NH are the closest accomodations.  (The list is aligned to places closest to Ascutney, VT, which is 10 miles N. of Springfield when it gives distances, etc.)
