What is our purpose in life?  Basically, every major spiritual tradition suggests we are here to become enlightened or worships someone who lived as an enlightened master who taught us how to be one.  Many people today believe we are in a global time of great transformation, in which we shall arrive as an awakened, enlightened, or ascended species.  But, that does that mean?  How do we get there?  And, do those who embrace this understanding truly understand what that means?

What is an awakened, illumined, enlightened state of being?  Might we say it is realizing, or living in a realized way, the fullness of who we are as Divine Beings, in a visceral, not cognitive, state of living oneness with all beings, with all life?  What we mean by this, is that to understand this in a cognitive way is one thing, that we are all one.  But, to actually experience it in a visceral way, that we are of one being, of one nature, of one mind, individual seeds or spark of the same creation, living from this perspective, seeing from this perspective, is quite another way of being.  It is being more realized, more actual, than factual.

We truly are all one, honoring our Divinity, our holiness, our state of being at one with all creation.  This means we are all the sons and the daughters of All Life, of the Great Mystery, of ‘Life longing for itself,’ as the great Sweet Honey in the Rock  tune speaks, of the One Great Creator and Creatrix (for, all life is  born of a feminine and masculine principal,) which have brought all life into existence; no matter what we call it, or how we define it; that one ultimate source of All Life.  I am drawn to the Taoist understanding, that those who believe they know the name of the Way, the One from Which all Comes, the Mother of Ten thousand things, then one does not know the Way, the one, the Mystery….there is, indeed, a reason it is called ‘the great mystery.”

So, how do we get there? How do we get into a Buddhistic or Christed Mind, be an enlightened or Awakened being?  Many in our contemporary times are into ‘healing. into their own healing path, into the ‘healing arts…’  but what is that?  Do we truly understand the ‘healed’ state?

The path is one of recognizing, honoring, embracing, embodying, who we truly are as Divine Beings. Do we get that.  Truly?   Do we feel it?  Do we live it, in a fundamental and daily way, in all our relations, on the highway to work, with the kids when they are doing something we feel a poor judgment or choice in their lives, or dangerous situation?  Are we living in our Divinity in our daily lives?

Who are we truly, as divine beings?  And what is this magical thing, “healing”?

I love the true meaning of words, not just the contemporary way we use them, but the actual origin of words.  In my life, and practice, it brings me such deep understanding and reverence for the English language.  We speak about the “sacred languages”, which “hold the essential nature of that which they speak?”  The Sanskrit language, for instance, is said to “resonate with the fundamental essence of that which is being spoken.”  How cool is that?…but it means you must watch what you say; that every word spoken is an invocation of that which we speak; that we are calling into being, through the vibratory essence of the spoken word itself, which we speak.  This is in line with the creation stories of so many cultures…”in the beginning was the Word, and the Word God, and the Word was with God”…the word was God???  What does that mean?  The word, that which is spoken.

Others say that the god/goddess of that culture had thought, imagined that thing, and spoke its name, and it came into being.  The word “abracadabra”, which we all loved to play with as a child, in our ‘magical” years…”ABRACADABRA”  We would say, and make something happen….how funny is that…do you know what the word actually means??  It means “Because I say it, it is so”  Because I say it, it is so.  Jesus, 2000 years ago, said, “Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' and if you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you."  (Mark 11:22-23, emphasis mine.)  Here he is casting the same light upon the power of the spoken word that the Aramaic magic spell casts.

In the beginning the world was dark, “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light” (Gen 1:3).…he said, “let there be light,” and there was light….

The power of the spoken word….well, I have found, that by looking into the root origin of words, we come closer to that original power and intent…indeed, what is “power?”   We tend to think of it more as being able to be ‘powerful over’ something or someone in our modern usage of it….we have power to do this, mostly over this thing or that person…

But, what it means, WHAT IT IS DERIVED FROM, IS, ‘TO BE ABLE’…TO BE ABLE, HOW POWERFUL IS THAT?

So, looking into what healing means, brings me tremendous understanding of the nature of the ‘healed state’, and the pathway to get there…now this is important to me, because if we, as healers, are suggesting we are ‘healing’ someone, then it behooves us to know what that means…what is the healed state, what are we doing with the integrity and well being of this person…in the first place, I believe the most we can is to be facilitators for that healing.  They have to choose, to be willing, at some level of their being, to become healed.  The more they participate, the more easily they enter that state.

What is healing?  And, have we ever been there ourselves?  There are a ton of healers out there I would never touch, or better, I would never allow myself to be touched by, because they have not done their own homework…they have attended a weekend class in reiki or shamanism, or hypnotism, and, wallah, they are a healer…perhaps they’ve attended a whole series of classes….but are they healed?  Do they feel like they are a healed person, within themselves?  Do they consider themselves, Healed?
The reality is, that if we have not walked the path ourselves, we are going to have a very difficult time taking someone else on the journey.  Indeed, we may come up to a place where we meet a great precipice, a great canyon or void, or a raging storm in our own psyche, for instance, and we haven’t got a clue what to do, and worse, because we have a great void, or a raging storm in our own psyche, and we are scared shitless to face it, have never faced it, and have no idea what to do with it….and we are up schitz creek….schlitz creek…

If we have taken the journey, we have a much better probability of understanding the landscape and terrain, and knowing the map and pathways…, and helping others through any piece that comes up with them.  Having training in a skilled methodology with supervised access to help, etc, also helps tremendously….

So, looking at the root meaning of healing gives some tremendous hope in understanding the nature of this phenomenon that so many of us talk about…it means, or is derived from, “Wholeness.”  Healing is wholeness.  Now this tells me a lot.  I am looking to become a whole person.  Or, I am looking to assist someone else to enter into a state of ‘wholeness’.  Now we can discover what that is, as well, but we have a better sense of what wholeness is, viscerally, than simply, healing.
But, now, comes the real kicker in this.  “Wholeness” means , or is derived from, “holiness”.  Wholeness means “Holiness.’…now this gives me some real, true direction in my path.  Interesting, “holiness’ is the end of the road in this search for derivation.  “holiness” is the root of its own meaning.  So we have come to the end of the line in determining what healing is, at an esoteric level.  Now, those of you with real and tangible physiological and psychological issues should explore the appropriate modern methods of care and medical treatment, I don’t want to dampen any spirits about this.

But, in the long run, for those of us who understand we have been traumatized, wounded, violated, beaten, and kicked out of believing in ourselves (talked out of…) can find a way back, to our wholeness, our innocence, our belief in ourselves, our own connection to that which is whole, to the ‘whole shebang,’ to all of creation, by looking into our holiness.

Another very interesting part of this discussion is the nature of integrity.  I have spoken about integrity in this article already at least once or twice.  We all know that we should live our lives from a place of integrity.  IT would be beneficial  for us to self examine to see how we feel we are doing in this regard.  And, not beat ourselves up if we are feel we are not doing a good job.  But, we should be looking at living life from a place of integrity, would you agree?
So, interestingly, integrity is, also derived from, wholeness…so our healing leads to our wholeness, and this leads to our holiness.  To live from a place of our integrity suggests we are living from a place of our wholeness, and by juxtaposition, from our holiness.

So we have two very strong clues here about both how to fix or heal, and how to live our lives, from a place of wholeness, and holiness….or, I might say, both the pathway, and the end result are the same.
The pathway to our integrity or healing is wholeness and holiness, and the method of living in our integrity is through our wholeness and holiness.
stepping into our wholeness, stepping into our holiness.

This is the pathway.  Again, not something so difficult to understand, foreign, or untouchable.  It is a doable path.

This is the pathway. Again, not cognitively understanding it (rationally or logically), not JUST cognitively, but viscerally, experientally living it, experiencing it  in our awareness, our spiritual dignity, divinity, and reality as holy beings.

Literally, being able to honor, to accept, to perceive, to liberate our awareness, that we are holy beings, revering in our own nature, as at one with that which we regard as most holy;  literally being able to honor our self as the holy of holies.  What this requires, is the understanding and awareness, from a place of integral humility, that we all, and All Life, is holy, and is, as holy as ‘the holy of holies.’

That which we consider most holy, we, and every aspect of life, is just such the same.  It only meets logical reasoning.  As,  IF you believe there is a holy creator, then EVERYTHING that came from that creator is HOLY.  There can be no other sense to it.  Now I know that you are going to respond but what about all the ugliness and terror, etc in the world…  The truth is, one, we have choice, and two, we can only recognize that which we emanate.  The reality is, that if we perceive horror, evil, ugliness, trauma, sorrow, sadness, etc, etc, in the world, some part of us is emanating that vibration, that awareness, into the world.
To truly come into liberated and aware consciousness, requires that we simple emanate the holiness that we witness as the ultimate, the supreme, the greater reality.

And, the reality is, that the more we do this, the more we shall bring ourselves, and everyone else in this world, to that greater reality.  The more we project into the world a sense of ugliness and betrayal, the more we feed life into that very soul.  For all things are conscious.  All things are real.  And our beliefs have a power greater than we yet understand.

It is not to ignore or deny any aspect of terror in the world.  But to focus our attention upon the ultimate and supreme truth as we perceive it, not as it or anyone else suggest it to be, and live from this perspective.  What WE perceive.  EVERY great spiritual master of every religious tradition has said fundamentally the same thing, and strived to, or lived from , that visceral perspective.

The pathway to healing, wholeness, holiness, liberation, integrity, is one of not only holding that illumination of consciousness, but of surrendering to the purity of consciousness, releasing oneself from all that is not pure.  This includes all levels of impurity, in thought, word, action, deed.  Whatever you yourself perceive as pure.  No one else can set, or subject you to, their limits of behavior, perception, judgment, morality, etc.  It is up to EACH of us, to find , discern, perceive, for our self, that which most good, whole, perfect, pure, for us, and for how  we are to live and act in this world.  It is not that we cannot or should not have external moral guides and compasses, or outposts.  Or, that we should not set models for, and expect moral conduct from our children or fellow beings.

But, the reality is, by setting the bar for self determination of right action, we build the trust, the belief, the legitimacy for each individual to set their own moral compass. And, this is what is lacking in society.  Rather than setting value in the supreme dignity and divinity of each unique being, we have sought to impose upon others, our own values, or that of some other system of belief, not INTERNAL to our own.  And, not lived by them, often, ourselves!!

If, and when, they (the ‘others,’) do not understand these, they do not have the moral conviction of one who does understand and ascertain for themselves, the basis for right action.  The reality is, there cannot  be one standard for every set of circumstances every individual faces at any given time.

And, the reality is, when we live in alignment with our own inner principals of moral, honest actions, based in our own highest integrity, we activate an aspect of our own consciousness which does, and will, guide us in our choices to determine  right action, and the highest good in any circumstance.  That moral compass is in alignment with universal principals, universal laws, and universal consciousness.  Creation.  It is through the laws and dynamics of harmonics that it operates, and it is through the feeling, visceral, senses and way of being we should abide in, that it guides us.  When we live and thrive from a heart based determination of free will, choice, and discernment, we activate this moral compass.  It requires the highest level of integrity from each of us.  That is all that is lacking.  And, it can only begin with each one of us.  No other.

The Harmonics I speak of is this:  Creation.  The Heart of all Creation emanates, pulses out into creation, indeed, is the cause of all creation.  All Creation pulses in Harmony with that original pulse.  The laws of Sacred Geometries and other studies of the sacred sciences disseminate this truth.  That all life unfolds in Divine proportions.  When we enter a harmonic state within our own being, we activate that harmonic principal of our self which is in union with all Life, with All Creation, with All Harmony.  And, through the feeling, visceral states we can very easily feel what is in harmony, and what is not.  It is a VERY simple mechanical reality.  Any great conductor can tell you when the bassoon or 3rd violin is not in pitch.  It only requires practice, discernment, and trust in our own ability to discern.  Given this as a lesson from birth, allowed to discern our own truth, with proper guidance to not do harm to ourselves or others during the learning stages, we SHALL come into seeing, believing, understanding and living from the principals of this divine truth, that all life is in Harmony, and we can enter that harmony at any time, and discern all that is in or not in harmony from within that principal…..

Not every one will get this.  But those of us who do, must set the standard for those who do not.  We can only guide by example.  We must live from, or work earnestly to become, absolutely honest with our self and each other.  Most of us do not do the first.  Few of us do the second, but none of us can do the second until we do the first.  It has to emanate from within our own core.   We must be absolutely honest with our self.  And when we see how much more good that brings into our lives, how much more whole and well we feel, we will truly understand, and be motivated to do more good, to live more in harmony and balance, to be more in our own integrity, and honesty.

The necessity of being completely honest with others in our lives:  It liberates us.  It sets us free. We no longer have to hold the yoke from dishonesty guilt, and shame, that it brings.  We are free of superficial pretensions of who we are, misleading and manipulative assumptions of who our friends and loved ones are, and what they are doing in relation to us.  We reveal our innermost truths and secrets, which weigh us down with horrid unrevealed lies, traumas, tortures, turmoil and grief, that keep us from feeling well, healed, unified, or connected, to others in our lives, much less to cosmic reality and destiny.

By being honest we liberate the life force within our being, which is, literally, tied up in knots of disbelief, dishonesty, mistruth, and deceit.  From an esoteric perspective, this damming of life force, this lack of free flow of the energetic principals of life, dampens our entire well being at an etheric level, and will eventual bleed into the physiological, to cause chronic and degenerative disease and emotional disorders.

We free ourselves to feel the joys that reside beneath our disbeliefs.  Yes, beneath the pain, agony, shame, guilt, anger, jealousy, pain grief, and dishonesty that most of us feel is the truth.  The truth is that we are joyful, loving, caring, peaceful, Divine beings.  Many of us don’t believe that about ourselves, and that is why we are locked in unhappy lives.  WE believe we are boring, shallow, non-beautiful, not good enough to please or be loved by mommy, daddy, the boss, loved ones……fill in the blank.

The reality is that we are divine beings.  We are looking at our simple, temporary selves.  We have built this view of who we are based upon false beliefs and assumptions of the culture and time we live in.  We are not simply physical beings who are here for one life and then gone.  We are eternal, vital, thriving spiritual beings who are Divine Sons and Daughters of ALL Creation.  We live many lives.  This life is but a simple shell that will be cast into the sea of lives upon its completion.  When we are done with it, we shall move back into our more eternal self, view this life, learn lessons from it look toward the next life with its set of lessons, and enter rebirth, to begin the drama all over again.
Unless we face the truth of who we are, and who we are not.  Once we find the actuality of our Divine self, our true beauty, wellness, wholeness, holiness, and eternity, we resolve the insignificance of our mistruths and misperceptions of who we think we are, and have invested all our pain and agony into believing we are, and believing others have impugned and traumatized us.  It is only the mortal shell that is wounded.  Our true heart and being is not.

But the choice is ours.  It can be a tragedy or a comedy, a living hell or a Divine play.  We are in command.  We hold the key.  We can create what we want in life, and the reality, we have.  It is not to say that there are not other forces at play, but too many of us simply ‘cast ourselves into the wind.’  We need to ground, build a fire of compassionate warmth in our hearts wet our appetite for joy and bounteous, simple, joyous living, not get lost in the illusions of grandeur of the physical world which is here today, and ‘caste into the fire tomorrow…’…, but ground ourselves in the deeper eternal truths of life, love, heaven, and wellness.  If you prefer hell, you can, and have done a good job, at creating it.
Let’s try the other direction for awhile.

Once we begin facing this reality of who we THINK we are, and who we believe others to be, we find beneath it all, dear, loving, holy, reverent, joyful, feelings, toward life, ourselves, and each other.  And, here is where we discover the truth.  The same truth that all the great masters have shared with us, time and time again, since time immemorial.  One problem is, we have imagined they are bringing us different truths, of different principals, of different heavens, of different gods…when, the truth is, they all speak from the same reality, the same voice, the same creator, though they may bring different circumstance, different shells they wear, into this life.  They all speak from the same heart about the same mysteries of life, of how to be, and find our true being.

One says “You are a Buddha (literally, ‘an awakened being,’ you only don’t realize it.”
The next says, “The only illusion is that you are separate from god,”  the next, “all is god, there is nothing but god.”  “Judge not and you will not be judged.”

“if you believe in your heart that this mountain will move, and you have no doubt in your heart, and you say to this mountain, ‘move you into the sea,’ the mountain WILL move into the sea.”  “Greater things than these shall be done by you…”

Do you not believe them?  Do you not understand the universal truth which exists in each teaching, each teacher?  “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”  (John 8:32).  This is not simply suggesting some greater esoteric or Biblical truth that you have yet to understand.  It is TELLING you EXACTLY what I just said.  The TRUTH shall set you free.  You already KNOW the truth.  You KNOW it.  Do you hide it, or share it?  Are you honest about it, or hide it or lie about it, hoping to mislead or manipulate others?  Do you feel free?  You SHALL know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.  It is this simple.  Do you Believe?  (If you do, you can move mountains.)
Healing is Wholeness.
Healing is Holiness.

Do you feel Whole?  What part of you is missing?  I suddenly looked around and said one day, you know, I can’t find any part of me missing.  I am not lacking.  I am whole.  I am healed, I am free.
Do you feel holy?  Again, what part of your holiness is missing?  Is it your belief?
Do you belief in yourself?  Do you belief you are holy?  Do you believe you are worthy of holiness, of being a child of the Divine?  Of being a divine creator with all the laws and abundance of that?  Can you enter that gateway with the highest integrity, to do good for all, to do harm for none, including yourself?

Do you believe in yourself?
“Believe” means “Be Love.”  (Look it up, by the way, in Daniel Webster, root words, in any good dictionary, some on line listings (or, get Word Origins, by John Ayto, for thorough explanations.))
Be love in your self.

Many blessings in your life and work.

In this work, we shall enter heightened states of consciousness, to ascertain greater states of truth about who we are.  We shall ascertain beloved holy beings in the other states, the other realms, the subtle realms, the holey ones, in what we call the ‘pure realms of light and sound,” (A Buddhist description of where they live.)  where they dwell.
We shall enter states that allow us to receive their blessings, and direct transmissions of holiness, wellness, and higher states of consciousness.  Those directing these practices tell me we shall enter into the ‘new imprints of being”  This shall be transmitted to you.

We shall utilize fundamental methods of esoteric practice to embody these transmission and heightened states of being. To enter into the transfigured soul, the “Sahu Ka,”, the grand illuminated light body, which is closer to the true nature of who we are.
