Four full days, to learn about the nature of sound both theoretically and practically, about its healing effects on the human energy system, and its therapeutic applications when working on ourselves and others.

The training with Zacciah and Arosa is suitable for both novices as well as experienced soundhealers.

Given the understanding that the pathway to learning to facilitate the healing process of others is also the pathway to one´s own healing, this course is an opportunity to understand ourselves and the nature of healing in a more comprehensive way.

We will get to thoroughly experience and learn to apply the power of sound in healing, using tools such as our own voice, bowls, tingshas, drums and others. We will also look into the art of “sacred sound transmission”, in which the energy of divine grace from the subtle realms can be toned through our voice to harmonize our physical existence.

The training will offer a well- balanced mixture of cognitive background information about the healing effects of sound and of direct experience. While a large variety of soundhealing techniques will be introduced, time and space will be given for practical exercises in order to gain confidence and ease in applying the methods.

Zacciah Blackburn is a sound healer trained in classical healing and shamanic traditions, and sacred sound cultures, and is practicing in Ascutney, Vermont, USA. In his work with groups and individuals, Zacciah couples intention with voice and instruments to open spaces of awareness in which we find access to our own inner mythology and divine source. Thereby, an integration or healing on physical and psycho-spiritual levels is made possible. In his warmhearted and humorous manner, grounded by professional integrity, Zacciah brings over a vast amount of information serving both our intellect and intuition. His supportive way of instructing allows us to easily apply the soundhealing methods in our daily lives and practices.

Dinah Arosa Marker practices Traditional Chinese Medicine and soundhealing. As a trained singer, she facilitates the unfolding of one´s own singing voice for groups and individuals. She brings us in touch with the healing power of our voice in her inspiring “Sing&Heal” - concerts and workshops, and introduces the methods of soundhealing with a loving clarity.

Here, she will be interpreting Zacciah fluently into German, invite us to sing mantras and healing songs, and share with us her practical experiences and knowledge in soundhealing, such as from the Soundhealer´s Training with Tom Kenyon, USA.

Time Frame:

Arriving on Wednesday, June 30^th, from 2:00 PM on, check in with tea/coffee. 6:00 PM: dinner, then introduction to all concerns of accomodation from Uli Heite, our host.

8:00 – 9:00 PM: meeting with Zacciah and Arosa, tuning into the following days through talk and song, ending with a sound meditation.

Times of training on Thursday from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Friday/Saturday tentatively, on Sunday from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. (We may alter times somewhat according to group needs.) There is the possibility of evening chants or sound ceremonies, as well as walks, etc, in the beautiful Alps. Last meal in the seminarhouse is lunch on Sunday.

The seminar house is located above the mountain village Boden in the Lech-Valley, a clear spring runs by it, and from the yard and terrace one looks upon a most beautiful mountain scene. Surrounded by waterfalls and many hiking paths it is an ideal place to unwind and collect oneself throughout our time there.

Weather permitting, we´ll practice some of the soundhealing techniques outside ... in the evenings, the campfire may be just right for those who love singing, dancing and drumming!

The seminar room is bright friendly, and gets its nourishment from the mountains through large patio doors.

There are two big and well-ventilated rooms available for sleeping (holding 20 people in total).

On request, some double and triple bedrooms may be booked for an additional fee.

The vegetarian food supply covers three meals a day plus herbal teas, afternoon coffee, cookies and fruits for the breaks, and pure spring water from the house.

The costs for accommodation in one of the big sleeping rooms plus vegetarian meals are € 165.-/person.

Whoever wants to stay in the guesthouse next door, will need to pay € 145.00 for the meals and day use in the seminar house, plus the costs for the accommodation in the guest house. Please contact in time for reservation:

Sleeping bag, Pillow, Towels, house slippers, warm socks, pullover, hiking boots, a warm blanket, maybe bathing suit for the public swimming pool in the hotel of the village. Very limited number of bedsheets can be borrowed for € 5.00.

For the training bring writing utensils, wear comfortable clothes, bring instruments you like to work with.

Room is limited to a maximum of 30 people. It is worthwhile to register early, for whoever does so before March 30^th pays

The residual amount should be wire transfered by 4 weeks prior to beginning of the course to Dinah Arosa´s account (or paid to Zacciah if that was your method of payment).

A registration is a commitment to participate. However, if there is need to withdraw from the program:

On withdrawing from the seminar up to 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the course, the deposit will be forfeited. When cancelling later than June 15, the entire seminar fee is forfeited, unless a substitute participant is offered. We will consider applying any lost fees to future programs. The seminar fee does not include costs for food/accommodation, which have to be paid to our host, Uli Heite, at the beginning of the training.

Participants are responsible for reservation and payment of food/accomodations in the seminar house.

Each participant carries the full responsibility for him/herself and his/her actions in and outside of the training. Any damage caused by him/her has to be reimbursed accordingly by him/herself. The training is not to be seen as a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment.
