 Integrative Health and Healing class
Foundations of Sound

Friday 5-9pm, and Saturday 9am-5pm,
November 17-18th
The Graduate Institute, CT

Zacciah is heading to The Graduate Institute in Connecticut to teach Sound Healing. In this program, we will explore an in depth spectrum of the nature of, and interrelationship of sound, healing and consciousness, and how to create or integrate sound techniques into a personal or professional healing practice.  We will work with various methods, incorporating modern scientific understanding, but we will focus on the intuitive arts arising from those indigenous and wisdom schools of learning.  We will utilize fundamental understanding of the inherent qualities of instruments and voice, coupled with the power of intentions, energy/meditation practices and how to enter and sustain pure states of awareness, which are the foundation of the greater states of healing.  Some of the instruments we will focus on will include pure crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls and bells, Native American (shamanic frame) drums and rattles, tuning forks, and the human voice.

No voice talent or musical background is needed.  The instruments and methods are simple to use, though very effective.  The use of voice is about expressing one's own innate felt senses and/or emotions through the art of 'toning,' and requires no special vocal skill.  Many who believe they cannot sing find it incredibly easy to express their authentic voice when offered these basic methods in a supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere.

Zacciah and his partner Dorothy are very skilled in their teaching methods, have taught extensive courses in sound healing for nearly two decades, and have a unique ability to offer in depth knowledge and experiential practices in ways meaningful to both novices and those adept in the field.
